Welcoming EUNIS Enterprise Architecture SIG to LAPIS Lab | Zagreb, 21 October 2026

We are delighted to welcome the EUNIS Enterprise Architecture Special Interest Group to the LAPIS LAB at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, on Wednesday, 21 October 2026.

The visit is organised in collaboration with SRCE, an active national member of EUNIS, as part of EUNIS Enterprise Architecture Week 2026, hosted in Zagreb, Croatia.

The EUNIS Enterprise Architecture Special Interest Group connects higher education institutions to exchange knowledge, share practical experiences and explore how enterprise architecture can better align capabilities, services, processes, information and technology to create value.

We are especially pleased to have the opportunity to contribute to this exchange by presenting some of our current research activities and projects at LAPIS Lab, including:

▫️PLEA → An affective robot and virtual being developed to explore human–AI interaction

▫️ LCH → An (LLM-integrated) intelligent control hub for the lab based on gesture recognition and natural language processing of voice commands

▫️Out-of-body experience → Eye-in-hand visual perspective and control through VR

▫️ Gesture - controlled drone flight → Controlling a drone in a virtual environment based on hand movements

▫️ Mixed reality IoT → Managing devices in a room through a mixed reality application

Through research, collaboration and knowledge exchange, we believe that bringing together different perspectives is essential for understanding how technology, data, processes and emerging digital solutions can support change and transformation in higher education and beyond.

It is a great pleasure to welcome our guests to LAPIS Lab and to share our research, ideas and experiences.

Welcome to Zagreb and LAPIS Lab!
