CPM - New IRI S3 Project

We are excited to be part of the CPM project – an applied research and innovation initiative focused on advancing predictive analytics for industrial turbine systems.

The project is coordinated by our industrial partner SolidForm (https://solidform.hr), bringing strong expertise in engineering and industrial applications.

CPM integrates Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and Industrial IoT (IIoT) to enable continuous monitoring and analysis of turbine operation, including vibration, temperature, pressure, acoustic signals, and performance indicators. By combining edge computing with cloud-based analytics, the system supports real-time anomaly detection, Remaining Useful Life (RUL) estimation, and efficiency degradation tracking.

A key innovation of the project is the integration of digital twin models and industrial control systems, enabling a shift from reactive to proactive maintenance strategies. This approach reduces downtime, optimizes performance, and extends the lifespan of critical industrial assets.

Funded under the IRI S3 framework (Competitiveness and Cohesion Programme), CPM strengthens collaboration between academia and industry while accelerating the deployment of AI-driven solutions in real-world environments.

The project will deliver validated predictive maintenance algorithms, a scalable digital platform, and industrial demonstrators, contributing to the digital transformation of the energy and manufacturing sectors.

Looking forward to the impact this project will bring.
